YEMASSEE, S.C. (WCBD) – A truck carrying boxes of macaroni pasta was involved in an accident Tuesday along I-95 near the Town of Yemassee. Police said the incident happened in the southbound lanes near mile marker 37.5. A product, “Wacky Mac,” was spilled on the interstate. Police say it was a brand of macaroni and cheese pasta. Yemassee Police and the South Carolina Department of Transportation are currently on the scene. Expect delays while crews clear the roadway. Authorities ask drivers to slow down, switch lanes carefully, and keep their attention on the road.
