BRPD: Woman accused of ramming car into exboyfriend's vehicle in 2022 arrested

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A woman accused of ramming her car into her ex-boyfriend's vehicle in Baton Rouge was arrested.
Trina Riley, 52, was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. She's charged with two counts of attempted second-degree murder, simple criminal damage to property and stalking.
Officers responded to the 13000 block of Goodwood Boulevard on Oct. 9, 2022, about a damage to property call. According to Baton Rouge Police, officers learned that the victim and his friend were at the location when Riley showed up.
Baton Rouge Police stated, following a short verbal conflict, "Riley returned to her vehicle and drove toward the victims at a high rate of speed in an attempt to strike them with her vehicle."

Riley proceeded to ram her car into the victim's vehicle. According to Baton Rouge Police, Riley fled the scene and was later arrested on Friday, Nov. 8.
