BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A woman accused of ramming her car into her ex-boyfriend's vehicle in Baton Rouge was arrested. Trina Riley, 52, was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. She's charged with two counts of attempted second-degree murder, simple criminal damage to property and stalking. Officers responded to the 13000 block of Goodwood Boulevard on Oct. 9, 2022, about a damage to property call. According to Baton Rouge Police, officers learned that the victim and his friend were at the location when Riley showed up. Baton Rouge Police stated, following a short verbal conflict, "Riley returned to her vehicle and drove toward the victims at a high rate of speed in an attempt to strike them with her vehicle." According to Baton Rouge Police, Riley fled the scene and was later arrested on Friday, Nov. 8.
