Atherton police ask for public’s help in 2 backtoback home burglaries

(KRON) -- The Atherton Police Department (APD) said it is investigating two home burglaries that occurred on back-to-back days. It is not yet known if the incidents are related.
In the first case, APD said officers responded on Nov. 8 to Catalpa Drive. The resident told police that suspects entered the home between 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., and raided several rooms.

In the other burglary on Nov. 9, Atherton police said officers arrived at Fairfax Avenue. The resident notified police that suspects broke a sliding door window to get into the home then looted the master bedroom.
Atherton police are asking neighbors in both areas to check their surveillance video and submit any possible leads.
