GEARY COUNTY (KSNT) - State troopers say a woman was hospitalized in Geary County on I-70 following a hit-and-run crash.
The Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) said in a crash log the hit-and-run occurred just before 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12 on westbound I-70 where it meets U.S. 77. State troopers say an unknown vehicle, possibly a Nissan, was following behind a Dodge Neon when it rear-ended the Dodge, sending it off the road where it hit a tree.
The driver of the Dodge, a 38-year-old woman from Junction City, was seriously injured in the crash and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The other vehicle left the area.
