They teams up regularly to support families in the region who face food insecurity. As Thanksgiving approaches, the Silver & Black and the Food Bank are increasing their efforts to help those in need during the holiday season. There are two home games this week in which fans are asked to bring canned food items. Per a Spurs press release: Join the Spurs on November 13th vs the Wizards and 15th vs the Lakers for a canned food drive! Please consider donating highly desired items which are specified in the image below. All donations will go to San Antonio Food Bank. Here is a list of the twelve most needed items at the Food Bank: If you can’t make the game, you can make financial donations using the QR code below.
