Nickelback, Kid Rock to headline Rock the Country

SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO)-- The organizers of a two-day music festival called "Rock the Country" have announced the acts coming to Sioux Falls.

A variety of rock and country acts will head to Sioux Falls Jul. 18-19. Some of the larger acts will include Kid Rock and Nickelback. On Friday, Kid Rock will take the stage and rock band Nickelback will perform Saturday night.
The full list of acts will be released Tuesday. KELOLAND News will have more coverage on air and online.
Kyle Heino, VP of Marketing for Pepper Entertainment, told KELOLAND News the festival is a mix of rock and country music.
The acts will be performing at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds, where over 30,000 people are expected to attend. You can find more information on the event's website.
Rock The Country is partnering with local Sioux Falls promoter, Pepper Entertainment.
Other cities hosting the two-day event include Knoxville, Tennessee, Ocala, Florida, Hastings, Michigan, Little Rock, Arkansas and York, Pennsylvania.
