Daughter accused of killing and dismembering mother due in court

MOUNT OLIVET, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — A Robertson County woman, 32-year-old Torilena Fields, is set to appear in court Tuesday afternoon for an arraignment following charges related to the alleged murder and dismemberment of her mother.
Fields faces charges of murder, abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence, and animal torture.
According to Kentucky State Police, Fields was arrested last month after authorities discovered her mother’s dismembered body outside the family home on Brierly Ridge Road in Mount Olivet. Fields is expected to appear in Robertson County Circuit Court at 1 p.m.
