Hawaii men's basketball wins Rainbow Classic

The University of Hawaii men's basketball team won the Rainbow Classic with a 76-66 victory over the University of the Pacific in the de facto championship game on Monday night.
After defeating San Jose State on Sunday night, the Rainbow Warriors made the quick turnaround and exit the tournament 3-0.

Marcus Greene and Gytis Nemeiksa had 18 points apiece for the Rainbow Warriors, who overcame a 3-for-17 performance on 3-pointers as a team. Nemeiksa also added 10 rebounds for a double-double.
Additionally, Tanner Christensen was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player after posting 14 points and seven rebounds to follow to 20 points and eight boards he had on Sunday.
Elijah Fisher had a game-high 21 points for the Tigers (3-1).
Next up for the Rainbow Warriors is a contest against Weber State on Sunday at 5 p.m.
