WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- D.C. police are investigating two separate shootings that left two men hurt. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said the first shooting happened in the 5400 block of 4th St. in Northwest D.C. There, officers found a man who had been shot in the lower body. The second shooting happened in Northeast D.C. at around 5:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of Benning Road. There, officers found a man who had been shot.
