ATWATER, Calif (KSEE/KGPE) - The Castle Air Museum in Atwater will kick off the holiday season with a "magical night" with its Christmas Tree Lighting later this month. According to the museum's website, the annual tree lighting will be on Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. Organizers say there will be free hot chocolate, delicious cookies and festive fun. They say to "save a stamp for the North Pole" and come see their special guest, Santa Claus. The museum's website says they are asking the community to bring an unwrapped toy for the toy drive. The Castle gift shop will be open until 8 p.m. and Copper Wings Cafe will be serving "holiday cheer", according to organizers. The museum is located at 5050 Santa Fe Dr., Atwater.
