NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Once again we are watching the western Caribbean for possible development over the next few days. The NHC is up to 60% with that development chance over the next 7 days. Right now conditions do appear favorable for development in the same region we saw Rafael begin to take shape. At this point we are very early in the process. While it's possible we have another system develop, any details beyond that are sketchy at best. The next name on the list is Sara. It looks unlikely we would see a storm in the northern Gulf with a couple of cold fronts moving in over the next week. The likely course would be to Florida or somewhere along the east coast, if not out to sea completely. As always though it's worth watching through the week.
