PUPUKEA, Hawaii (KHON2) -- Multiple first responder agencies were called to rescue a group of snorkelers from Three Tables Beach off Oahu's North Shore. Download the free KHON2 app for iOS or Android to stay informed on the latest news The incident came in around 3:20 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11 when the Honolulu Fire Department received a report where a 29-year-old male snorkeled was separated from his friends after being caught in large surf. Coast Guard investigating after divers lost at sea for 90 minutes Upon arrival at the scene, HFD and Ocean Safety conducted water searches throughout the area. Officials said Ocean Safety rescued one male and one female; both suffered lacerations. Paramedics evaluated both patients, who later declined transport to a hospital. According to EMS, the third snorkeler, who is possibly in his 20s, was found just after 4:30 p.m. and received CPR and life support treatment from first responders upon arriving at shore. During the time of the rescues, the surf was between six to 10 feet and was said to be building.
