HONOLULU (KHON2) -- Honolulu Fire Department officials responded to a fire call incident on Monday, Nov. 11 at Kapiolani Medical Center. Get Hawaii's latest morning news delivered to your inbox, sign up for News 2 You According to HFD, firefighters were called to the incident shortly after 6 p.m. when smoke was reportedly coming from a duct. Snorkeler rescued from Three Tables Beach in critical condition Upon arrival, officials reported a wood frame in the duct was smoldering. Firefighters were able to access the duct and fully extinguish the smoldering wood. KHON2 has reached out to Kapiolani for more information but has yet to receive a response.
