Several Austin restaurants named in annual MICHELIN Guide Ceremony

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Several restaurants in the Central Texas area were named during the annual MICHELIN Guide Ceremony that happened in Houston Monday night.
Whether they were One MICHELIN Star, MICHELIN Green Star or a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, Austin was put in the spotlight.
These Austin restaurants were listed as One MICHELIN Star, as provided by the MICHELIN Guide below:

Two Austin restaurants were named as a MICHELIN Green Star, as provided by the company below:

Several restaurants in Austin were listed as the MICHELIN Bib Gourmands, as announced by the company on Monday.
A Bib Gourmand "are restaurants that offer the best value for money," the company said in a news release.

Additionally, Barbs B Q (barbecue cuisine) in Lockhart made the list, the company said.
Other cities in Texas with restaurants that received a Bib Gourmand are Bellaire, Dallas, Fort Worth, Pearland, San Antonio, Seguin, Spring and Tomball.
