MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A multi-vehicle crash shut down a stretch of Highway 152 Monday morning after inclement weather, Madera area CHP says. According to officers, the multi-vehicle crash occurred in the westbound lanes of Highway 152, west of Road 17 in Madera County. Northbound Highway 99 to westbound Highway 152 was closed while law enforcement worked to clean up the area. In total, CHP says more than 10 vehicles were involved. Despite the various vehicles that crashed, CHP reports only minor injuries for the drivers and passengers involved. The cause of the crash is under investigation, but officers report wet roads caused by recent inclement weather were likely a contributing factor.
