TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A beloved K9 whose life was dedicated to consoling victims passed away Saturday, the Tulare County District Attorney's Office announced. The DA says K9 Fortune was Tulare Couny's first courthouse comfort K9, devoted to impacting the lives of children and victims of crimes. The DA adds Fortune was first brought to their office in 2016. Officials say Fortune peacefully passed away on Saturday evening with his family by his side following a brief illness.
