PARLIER, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The Parlier Police Department is mourning the loss of one of their own after he unexpectedly passed away on Saturday. Parlier Police announced on Sunday the passing of Parlier Police Officer Juan Rodriguez, who died at his home from unknown health-related issues on Nov. 9. Chief David Cerda says Officer Rodriguez was dedicated to serving and protecting the community of Parlier, especially local students. Having served as the Parlier High School Resource Officer, Rodriguez was described as impacting many students' lives through his "genuine work" and "kind nature." A memorial service to honor Officer Juan Rodriguez will be announced soon.
