Delta plane clashes with food truck while landing in Sacramento

(KRON) – A Delta Airlines plane’s right wing soared into a food truck when it attempted to land at Sacramento International Airport on Monday.
The Boeing 737-900 was entering Sacramento from the Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The plane contained six crew members and 178 passengers, according to Delta.
A spokesperson from Delta Airlines told KRON4.com, “While taxiing into the gate upon landing, the right wing of Delta flight 904 from Atlanta (ATL) to Sacramento (SMF) reportedly made contact with a vendor catering truck. The aircraft continued to the gate, and customers deplaned normally. We apologize to our customers for the delay in their travel.”

The plane is expected to travel from Sacramento to Atlanta at 3 p.m. on Monday. According to Delta, this flight has been delayed by two and a half hours.
Delta said the vendor reported minor scratches to the food truck.
There have not been any reports of injuries, according to Delta.
