Shoppers stock up early for Thanksgiving dinner

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Thanksgiving is a little over two weeks away and Americans have already been making their way to the stores to pick up some traditional foods for the holiday.
Thanksgiving is almost here and if you haven't already done so, now is the time to get out there and catch some of those holiday sales.
Millions of Americans celebrate this holiday which means many people are still heading to the stores to get their groceries. During this time of year, shoppers will be racking up on the Turkey, stuffing, Cranberry sauce, pie, and the list goes on.
Sam Newell at Fruit Fair in Chicopee says many people have been coming in and putting in their orders for the holiday. "We definitely have a lot of specials and pre-orders so we usually have 4-5 butchers in our meat department and they cut the meat and make the roast according to specifications and how many people each family is trying to feed," says Newell.
Newell says Fruit Fair has various meats, pastries, and ingredients for Thanksgiving dishes including some that are on sale.
