CLOVER, S.C. — One person has died after a crash in York County on Monday. The South Carolina Highway Patrol says, the single car crash happened on Davidson Road near Lexington Green Road around 12:50 p.m. Troopers say the driver of a 2012 Ford sedan was driving south on Davidson Road, veered off the left side of the road, struck a mailbox and a tree. The driver died at the scene. Authorities have not released the name of the victim at this time. We will update this story as more information is released.
