Austin police searching for missing 41yearold with Down syndrome

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a missing man who was last seen Sunday night. Police said the man has Down syndrome.
Roberto Romero, also known by the name Roberto Alpizar, 41, ran away from his home in the 8200 block of Research Boulevard on Sunday around 7 p.m., according to police.
That area is north Austin near West Anderson Lane and North Lamar Boulevard.
Roberto was described by police as a Hispanic man, approximately 235 lbs and 4'9" in height. He has black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen without a shirt, wearing gray shorts, black crocs, and a purple/pink flower print blanket, according to APD.
Police added that Roberto was possibly seen by a witness near Lazy Lane / Research Boulevard on Sunday night at approximately 10:30 p.m.
