(KRON) – Oakland fire crews have responded to a residential fire in the 1500 block of East 17th Avenue on Sunday, according to the Oakland Fire Department.
Crews responded seven minutes after the dispatchers were notified of the fire at 11:43 a.m.
According to OPD, the flames have progressed to a two-alarm fire, which means more firefighters and equipment were called in to battle the blaze. The department said 40 firefighters responded to the scene.

OPD said 12 adults and a minor have been displaced due to the fire. There have not been any reported injuries.
The fire was contained at 1:04 p.m.
