Two people displaced after early morning house fire in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A house fire displaced two people on W. 27th Street in Norfolk Sunday morning.
Norfolk Fire-Rescue (NFR) said that crews were called to the 800 block of W. 27th Street around 6:20 a.m. for a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, fire crews found smoke and flames visible from the over two-story house.
NFR said they made an aggressive interior attack and the fire was marked under control at 7:01 a.m.

Two occupants will be displaced as a result of the fire and the Red Cross has not been requested for assistance at this time. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
