WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — The Winston-Salem Police Department is investigating a Sunday morning shooting in which a teenager was injured. Around 11:18 a.m., WSPD responded to the 1000 block of Nancy Lane where a woman said her teenage son had been shot by a suspect who allegedly fled the scene. The juvenile was taken to a local hospital. His condition is unknown at this time. WSPD says this is an isolated incident, and they are still on the scene investigating. This is a developing story.
