Either you do something or you sit back and watch nothing happen," said CEO and Founder of Heal the Hood Memphis Ladell Beamon. "And we just chose to do something about it. So our job is to be able to not only give to the kids in the form of gifts but to be able to use the gifts as a passport to go into their household and bring love and joy, inspiration.” Coming up at 10, WREG will hear from one of the families the charity basketball game will help.
