HICKSVILLE, Ohio (WANE) - A fire at a Subway restaurant in downtown Hicksville left one dead on Saturday night. The Subway is near the intersection of W High Street and S Main Street in downtown Hicksville. The Hicksville Police Department began receiving reports of the fire at 6:21 p.m. Hicksville Police Sergeant, Craig Doctor confirmed that one man died in an apartment located above the Subway. There were no other injuries. The Hicksville Police Department was assisted by the Sherwood Fire Department, the Farmer Fire Department and the Defiance County Sheriff's Office. This is an ongoing investigation.
