1 person dead after officerinvolved shooting in St. Paul, police say

St. Paul police officers were involved in a shooting Saturday afternoon that left one person dead, according to police.
“Saint Paul police officers were involved in a shooting just after 1:45 p.m. near the intersection of Bay Street and Watson Avenue where one person has died. No officers were injured,” St. Paul police posted on X.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is at the scene investigating.
“We are at the scene of a use-of-force incident in St. Paul,” the BCA wrote on X. “More information to come once the preliminary investigation is complete.”
