INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating a fatal shooting on the near west side of side of Indianapolis. According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of West Michigan Street around 5:55 p.m. on a report of a person shot. When police arrived at the scene, they located a victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. IMPD has confirmed that the shooting victim has been pronounced dead.
