AUSTIN (KXAN) — Calling all Harry Potter fans! At 5 p.m. Saturday, the Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience opens in McKinney Roughs Nature Park, located at 1760 State Highway 71 in Cedar Creek, Texas. The themed experience set in an illuminated forest allows guests to come face-to-face with some of the most memorable and magical creatures from the Harry Potter universe. Guests will follow a woodland trail through the spellbinding forest, just be sure to have your wands and cameras ready. The interactive experience allows guests to cast spells illuminating the forest and even summoning a Patronus. Timed-entry tickets start at $41 for adults and $28 for children and are available for purchase online. Children ages 2 and under enter free of charge, according to event organizers. The experience is open on select dates now through December.
