(WROC) — Monroe County’s annual Veterans Day Parade is set to kick off Saturday for its third year. The parade will start at 10:30 a.m. at the corner of South Goodman Street and Highland Avenue. The parade route will run up Highland Avenue to the Greater Rochester Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Gary Beikirch Park on South Avenue. In honor of the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, the Grand Marshal of this year’s parade will be “The Vietnam Veteran.” Members of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 20 will be featured on a float during the parade.
