(KRON) – An award-winning chef and restaurant entrepreneur is laying roots in Silicon Valley – literally. Chef Stephanie Izard announced a new restaurant, Valley Goat, in the new Treehouse Hotel Silicon Valley.
Chef Izard is teaming up with Boka Restaurant Group for her new restaurant. According to the Boka Restaurant Group’s website, the opening date is yet to be determined but is slated to open in the winter of 2025.
If Chef Izard’s name is familiar to you, it is because she was the first female winner of Bravo’s Top Chef. Chef Izard has also won The James Beard Foundation’s Best Chef: Great Lakes award in 2013.

This is not Chef’s Izard's first restaurant venture. Born in Evanston, Illinois, she is the Executive Chef and owner of Girl & the Goat, Little Goat, Duck Duck Goat, and Cabra in Chicago. Girl & the Goat and Cabra have second locations in Los Angeles.
Valley Goat, per Boka Restaurant Group’s website, will have “a shareable menu that celebrates Northern California’s abundant produce, featuring the fresh, locally sourced ingredients and bold, globally-inspired flavors.”
