Regional leaders recognized during 'Super 60 Awards' in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Springfield Regional Chambers' Super 60 Awards was held on Friday.
The Super 60 recognizes members and non-members of the Springfield Regional Chamber for the work they are doing in the community. Awards are given to celebrate local businesses and this year, 22News' own morning anchor Rich Tettemer was the Emcee.
Massachusetts lawmakers on what might change after election
Organizations and companies have been gathering for almost 40 years for the Super 60 Awards, acknowledging the impacts they have had on western Massachusetts, while also being able to talk, network, and congratulate the winners of the five categories. Besides, Revenue and Growth, there are three new ones too.
"They can all learn from each other, no doubt about that. They can all be successful in their own way but also learn some new tricks as well," 22News Anchor and Super 60 Emcee Rich Tettemer said.
"Our non-profits that work so hard here in the area, give back. Those businesses that give back to the community we wanted to recognize and we love recognizing star-ups because those are the risk-takers," said Springfield Regional Chamber President Diana Szynal.
Szynal said especially in these challenging times for businesses, it is good to come together and celebrate each other's success.
All of the award winners were also gifted two tickets to a Springfield Thunderbirds game where they can further network and celebrate their accomplishments in western Massachusetts.
