Charleston restaurant and bar transforms into cozy Christmas popup… with snow!

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away, but the Lowcountry is getting a jump on the holiday season with festive decorations and installations popping up around the area.
A local restaurant, The Little Palm, has rebranded as the "Little Pine” for the season.
It’s a clever idea from the team at The Ryder Hotel on Meeting Street which houses the now Little Pine restaurant and bar where Christmas arrived a little early.
A full festive redesign includes ice skating, bright lights, dozens of Christmas trees, cozy gondolas, and even snow in the heart of downtown Charleston.
If you’re feeling the itch to do something festive on the early side this year, the installation is open this weekend and they are welcoming guests to enjoy Christmas carols, sip holiday drinks like hot buttered rum, and enjoy season snacks like melty fondue.
"Last year there was tons of great feedback. Lines were out the door to sit in our cute little gondolas, we did a really fun cocktail menu to correspond with it this year that we are really excited about, and we think this will bring some attention also to the ice-skating rink. We love to do interactive activations at the Ryder Hotel, we do them year-round and so far, Little Pine has honestly just been the biggest hit,” said Brad Buchanan with The Ryder Hotel.
The Little Pine is open through January 5th, and you can make reservations for everything including the ice skating by using the Resy platform.
