ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A mother has been arrested following the death of her baby back in March, according to the Yates County Sheriff's Office. On March 20, deputies and emergency crews arrived at a home in Dundee for an unresponsive infant. The baby, who was around five months old, was taken to a nearby hospital and was pronounced dead. On Friday, deputies said they arrested the mother, 34-year-old Samantha Crane. She was charged with one count of criminally negligent homicide. The cause of the child's death has not been revealed.
