HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Looking for comedic relief after a long week? Comedians Tisha Campbell and Finesse Mitchell will perform at the Funny Bone Comedy Club in Henrico County on Friday and Saturday. Known for her roles on Showtime's "Uncoupled," the ABC hit series, "My Wife and Kids," and as Gina on "Martin Show," among others, Campbell has worked as an actress, singer, director, producer and writer. Mitchell, also an actor, is a Saturday Night Live alum and has starred on Disney Channel's "A.N.T. Farm," Hulu's "History of the World Part II," Fox's "Outmatched," and more. 8News Anchors Delaney Hall and Autumn Childress got to speak with the stars in the morning on Friday, Nov. 8 ahead of their performances in the Richmond area. Campbell explained that her career in stand-up comedy began after acting alongside Mitchell and other actors and comedians. The stop in Henrico County is the pair's second show so far, and as for what attendees can expect, Campbell said, "laughter." "If you need to laugh, we just had a political cycle end, and if you have political fatigue, and you just want to laugh and take your mind off of politics for a weekend," Mitchell said, explaining why it may be a particularly apt time to attend.
