LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — A serious crash on Nicholasville Road and West Reynolds Road left two people hospitalized late Thursday night. According to Lexington Police, the collision occurred around 9:30 p.m. when an inbound vehicle reportedly crossed into oncoming lanes and collided with an outbound vehicle. Emergency responders took both drivers to the hospital, with at least one person suffering life-threatening injuries. Due to the crash, police temporarily closed part of Nicholasville Road for several hours to investigate and clear the scene. The lanes have since reopened, and the investigation remains ongoing.
