Dallas ISD Food and Child Nutrition Services is celebrating the spirit of Thanksgiving and encouraging students to feel gratitude and togetherness. To celebrate the holiday, FCNS  will be serving a special Thanksgiving meal for lunch on Wednesday, Nov. 20, that will provide our students with a delicious new menu and instill a sense of appreciation and unity within our school community. These Thanksgiving meals are free for all students, and parents or family members are welcome to enjoy this special menu with their kids on campus. The meals consist of roasted turkey breast with gravy, a cornbread stuffin muffin, green bean casserole, savory sweet potatoes, fresh apples, crisscross applesauce, and a special harvest cookie. Adult meals will be available for purchase for $5.
