Delphi murders: Jury deliberations to continue Friday

DELPHI, Ind. -- After the case went to the jury Thursday afternoon, deliberations in the Richard Allen trial are expected to continue on Friday.
After the jury heard closing arguments from both the prosecution and the defense on Thursday, the case went to the jury at 1:25. Allen has been charged with four counts of murder in relation to the February 2017 deaths of Abby Williams and Libby German.
Delphi murders: Case now in the hands of the jury
The jury is expected to resume its deliberations at 9 a.m. on Friday and go until 4 p.m. The jury could deliberate longer than that if they so choose. If there is no verdict, deliberations are expected to resume at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
The jury will decide if Allen is guilty or not guilty. According to previous reports, the case could also end in a mistrial if the jury does not agree unanimously on its verdict.
