COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – State Route 161 near New Albany was shut down for several hours early Friday morning, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation, due to a police incident. The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting, which occurred at or near SR 161, near the Sunbury Road exit at around 2:45 a.m. Police said one person was shot and taken to the hospital, though it has not been confirmed if there are other injuries or if anyone is in custody.
