LOS ALAMOS, N.M. (KRQE) – Pajarito Mountain in Los Alamos is having a historic early opening this weekend. The general manager said this is the first time in 40 years the ski area has been able to open before Thanksgiving. Heavy snow falls on Las Vegas during November snowstorm It's all due to a winter storm moving through New Mexico. The mountain got over two feet of snow over the last three days and much more is forecasted. The Aspen lift will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Rentals will not be available so bring your own gear. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online.
