Friday brings us fantastic fall weather

After some turbulent weather days, high pressure has settled in across northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. As a result, we enjoyed a lot of sunshine on Thursday! Take a look at the view we captured Thursday afternoon in Fort Wayne!
It was a beautiful November day on Thursday!
More tranquil November weather is on tap to wrap up the workweek. Look for clear skies as you head out the door early Friday morning. Temperatures will be on the chillier side in the mid-to-upper 30s to start the day, so grab the coat as you're heading out the door for work or school.

Friday will be another nice fall day, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures climbing back into the lower 60s. Get outside and enjoy it, but keep in mind we could see wind gusts up to 20 mph at times. The weather also looks great for the area high school football postseason games, although it will be chilly outside.

By Saturday though, clouds will be on the increase ahead of our next weather system. Expect another breezy day, with highs in the upper 50s.

Periods of rain will arrive after midnight Saturday night and last into Sunday morning. The good news is by Sunday afternoon, rain chances will be on the decrease and we'll dry out completely by Sunday night. We're looking at amounts around a half an inch to slightly above when all is said and done.

Severe Drought Continues for the Area
We're back to the upper 50s and dry on Monday and Tuesday before clouds increase again Wednesday and another system tracks in Wednesday night into Thursday. Stay tuned for updates, but enjoy the nice November weather while it is here.
