ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A mother and her 19-year-old son are accused of shooting and stabbing two men in Rochester late October. Thursday, the Rochester Police Department announced the arrests of Raquel Quinn, 35, and Cristopher Bermudez, 19, in relation to this incident.
According to police, officers were called to East Main Street in Rochester Oct. 23 just after midnight for the report of a shooting. Once on scene officers found two men, a 36-year-old and a 35-year-old, both in need of medical assistance. The 36-year-old immediately underwent surgery after being shot multiple times while the younger man was left stabbed at least once. Both men were expected to survive their injuries.

According to RPD, Quinn recently had a child with one of the men when she approached them that night, and an argument ensued shortly after. Quinn then reportedly left before coming back with Bermudez, her son. The two stabbed and shot the men before taking off, investigators said.
Bermudez was arrested Tuesday. He’s since posted $5,000 bail. Officers also said that back in July, Bermudez was arrested and released without bail for criminal contempt in the first degree, a charge that’s still pending.
His mother, Quinn, was officially arrested Thursday. She’ll be arraigned Friday morning.
