LEMOORE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Following the closure of the Kmart in Lemoore, a move which came ahead of the Kmart closures nationwide, a new store will be taking its place. The City of Lemoore announced on Thursday that the developer of the shopping center where Kmart used to be, at 215 W. Hanford-Armona Road, has applied for a demolition permit to renovate the interior of the building. According to the city, the developer of the site, California Gold Development Corporation, plans to bring a Tractor Supply Company store to the site. Other stores are also set to be included in the rejuvenation of the site.
