(KRON) -- A drunk driver who was recklessly driving crashed into four parked cars near a Santa Rosa youth soccer facility, according to police. Officers with the Santa Rosa Police Department were dispatched to A Place to Play community park at 2375 West Third Street at around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday on a report of a multi-vehicle crash.
Police received a report that a gray Lexus sedan had been driving recklessly in the north parking lot before losing control and crashing into four parked cars. All four cars were occupied by parents waiting to pick up their kids from soccer practice.
One woman in one of the cars suffered minor head and shoulder injuries in the crash. She was treated and released by medical personnel at the scene.

When the incident occurred, police said there were around 200 people at the park, mostly kids playing soccer and their families.
The driver of the Lexus, police said, tried to flee the scene immediately after the crash by running to a nearby trail. Bystanders began running after the man and were able to physically detain him until police got there.
Officers detained and handcuffed the suspect without incident.
The investigation was taken over by an accident investigator with the Santa Rosa PD Traffic Division. Investigators determined that the suspect, 19-year-old Angel Uribe of Santa Rosa, was driving west through the lot and crashed into a parked Chevrolet Tahoe and then into a GMC Sierra.

The crash caused the Sierra to crash into two cars parked next to it. Uribe's Lexus then crashed into other vehicles with enough force to deploy his airbags, police said.
Uribe, according to investigators, was intoxicated at the time of the crash. According to police, he has a prior DUI conviction in 2023 for which he is on probation. At the time of Wednesday's crash, he was out of custody on pre-trial supervision for another DUI arrest on Aug. 7.
Uribe was prohibited from drinking alcohol by the terms of his probation and pre-trial supervision, along with the legal drinking age in California. He was arrested and booked into Sonoma County Jail for the following offenses:
DUI collision causing injury
DUI collision with a BAC of .08 or higher, causing injury
Hit and run collision causing injury
Give false identification to a peace officer
Drive on a license suspended for prior DUI
Police said that due to the severity of the incident, a bail enhancement of $500,000 was requested and approved by a Sonoma County Superior Court Judge.
