The town of Hideout will host a public open house at its town hall, 10860 North Hideout Trail, on Nov. 13 from 4-7 p.m. to explore ideas for the future development of the Ross Creek area. The event will feature multiple informational stations outlining potential aspects of the proposed development. It’ll be the public’s first opportunity to share thoughts and ideas with town officials on a vision for the future growth and development of the property, which is near the entrance to the shores of the Jordanelle State Park.“The newly created Ross Creek entrance to the Jordanelle State Park presents an opportunity for expanded recreation for everyone in the region,” said Jan McCosh, the town administrator. “In keeping with our mission to enhance our community through insightful planning and serious consideration of public input, we are eager to gather stakeholders to help guide the future of Ross Creek.”The town said in a press release that the event “reflects the commitment of town officials to collaborate with stakeholders across the Wasatch Back as they work to continue the development of town amenities.”The post Hideout to host open house on Ross Creek area appeared first on Park Record.
