Fall River Police make arrest for cocaine possession after warrant

FALL RIVER, R.I. (WLNE) — The Fall River Police Department said two people were the focus of an investigation into possible cocaine trafficking.
46-year-old Damien Brooks was charged with trafficking cocaine 18 grams or more, possession of a class A drug, and possession of a class C drug.
Amanda Alves, meanwhile, was summonsed for possession of a class C drug.
Police executed a search warrant of a residence on Dwelly Street on Nov. 6.
During the search officers allegedly found over 30 grams of cocaine, a small amount of fentanyl, Psilocybin mushrooms, Clonazepam 0.5 pills, and $1,258 in cash.
