MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Two men were taken into custody on Tuesday following a chop shop bust in the Airport Area.
The Shelby County Sheriff's Office, in partnership with the Desoto County Sheriff's Office, conducted a search warrant in the 3300 block of Melodywood Drive on Tuesday in connection to an auto theft investigation.
Deputies collected evidence such as a stripped Dodge Challenger, which was reported stolen from Memphis in October, and various car parts and tools. SCSO says the findings indicate that a chop shop was active on the property.
