(ABC36 NEWS NOW) — In just six months, Kentuckians aged 18 and older will be required to have a Real ID or another form of federally accepted identification by May 7, 2025, if you plan to fly domestically or enter specific federal facilities, such as military bases. To obtain a Real ID, residents will need to provide: Their Social Security card or number Two proofs of residency One form of identification, like a birth certificate or passport.
