MUNCIE, Ind. — A Muncie man was arrested on Wednesday at noon after reportedly molesting a young girl, according to court documents.
Phillip Joshua Grimes, 35, was charged for three counts of child molestation and one count of sexual battery.
The Muncie Police Department received a report on Oct. 25 that alleged Grimes had touched a young girl inappropriately.
The victim said that Grimes grabbed her by the throat and threw her on a bed face down. Over the years of abuse, the victim said she was kicked in the stomach, punched, and slapped until she was bleeding.
The court documents reveal that the girl was forensically interviewed at 3, 5, and 9 years old for reported incidents over the years.
Grimes, who denied the allegations, was transported to the Delaware County Jail.
