PORTAGE, Wis. (WFRV) - During the search of a central Wisconsin residence on Monday, officers seized nearly 2 pounds of fentanyl, valued at over $80,000, while arresting a man and a woman in the process. According to the Portage Police Department, officers responded to the 400 block of East Cook Street on November 4 after getting a report that two people, who reportedly had a no-contact order, were initially thought to have a large amount of heroin. After officers arrived and searched the residence, 29-year-old Brianna Mootz and 29-year-old Harley Schrank were allegedly found to be in possession of 1.8 pounds of fentanyl, a handgun, over $3,000 in cash, and drug paraphernalia.
